Deputy Paul R. Krohn
Deputy Krohn serves as a School Resource Officer for the Isle of Wight County Sheriff’s Office. He began his law enforcement career in the United States Navy as a Military Police Officer, Harbor Patrol Officer and Weapons/Anti-terrorism Instructor. As a TSGT in USAF, he served as a physical security specialist (Korea) and anti-terrorism NCOIC (Langley) as well as a Fire Team Leader for the 910th Security Forces Squadron before leaving active duty after 20 years of combined Navy and Air Force service.
Deputy Krohn also spent 2 years as a police officer with the Department of Defense and the Chesapeake Police Department. He resides in Smithfield and is honored to serve in the community and county he resides in. He is married with two children and enjoys motorcycling, camping, water sports, and hunting.
